The 280 hp motors (consumer warranty version) have the box that will go full rich after loss of water pressure or high temp. The Offshore "race" motors do not have this. I am wondering if pulling the sensor plug on the top of the motor will fail this feature or will it cause problems? I think running in rough water bouncing in and out of the water is causing the the box to see low water pressure and maybe go to full rich. I could just pull the sensor plugs and see, but thought I would ask here first. Thanks.
