how do these mount to the trailer ? U-bolts ? Kinda looks like we have to custom mount for our aplication ?

the ones they sell now have a solid back which make it a bit stronger. i have mine though bolted like the ones in the pics, but with a few extra piece's of aluminum for added support

kind of odd those SS boats have gas cans on there- they run on regular unleaded. lol. maybe pre-mixed?

I am just considering adding the can holders to my rig for extra fuel. That way I can run longer befor pulling the boat out. with the extra 20 gallons , I should be able to have a good day of running befor having to pull the boat out and drive to get fuel.

If you tow your boat with a pick up why dont you look into getting a fuel transfer tank with an electric pump. that would mount in the bed of the truck then you can carry up to 105 extra gallons of gas that should keep you on the water for a while.

HHHMMM good idea, but My truck is diesel, and I tow with the motorhome. Maybe if I install an extra tank in the MH and then have a transfer pump ??? I have also considered a Todd fuel dolly 28 gallon, then just roll it down the dock.
