Is there a thicker gasket? If so what is the part number. Is there a good place to order the gasket in case I can't find it at a local marina? Thanks again!

Dan, sounds like you got yourself into a mess with those new heads! I'm scared to mess with my stock 2.4, it gives me enough of a rush at 76 mph. -Chad the pyro-maniac

I'll figure something out, I just don't have the time to mess around with it now. I'd like to run some high octane fuel with the heads at 160 psi and check my top speed and acceleration. Then I'll try thicker gaskets or have the combustion chambers enlarged or I'll put the old heads on. A friend gave me the heads to try and see how they work so I have not actually bought them, which is good. The boat did seem to peg the speedo a lot easier than usual in my short top speed run.

The Drag Motor gaskets are around .070 thick about the same as a fishin motor 2.5.
