I have ran with jacks and without. The biggest factor I see is the weight balance of the boat. The motion as with all true cats, is very fussy as to where the pivot point, or center of balance is weight wise. I originally rigged the boat with the jacks, too light up front ended up with mounting my batteries under the bow. I took the plates off, had to move batteries back. Eventually I pulled the gas tanks out, moved them forward in the hull and put plates back on. boat runs beautifully now. Obviously the nice thing about the jacks is the ability to adjust prop height. Most smaller cats with twins are light in the front, you may want to try without jacks and move weight around to see how it handles in a chop.

See, that's what I just told you on the phone. I think you should figure a way of getting them off.

yea i think i have try to get the studds to spin out of the plate so it will come out easier that 5200 is a nightmare the guy i bought the plate from had the same problem but used the 5200 all over the back of the plate i used a little bit of that stuff i dont know what the other guy was thinking
