I use to own a 21 Shadow with a 2.4 and 12' setback with a 24 chopper mazco. I am thinking about buying another 21' or 22' and set it up with a 12" stainless marine setback and a stainless hyd. gorrila jack and a new 300x mounted on top. Any idea what kind and size prop should work?

I had Shadow with a 300x, ran 14.5 X 26 E.T. with great success. PLane good, with great mid-range. Top end was 90 plus. Chuck.

A 12" setback with a jackplate is way to far back for a 21 or 22'. Prop on a 300 pro max try a 14.5 x 32-34 works for me on a 21 cougar MTR 300 pro max turns a solid 108 mph. 10" of total setback.
