Need info on mariner 2.5

I have an Allison xtb21 with a mariner 2.5 but I am not sure of the hp.The build date is 10/5/93 and I was told it is a 240 with carbs.The number on the block is OD935690.I would like to know for sure what hp. also what plugs should I run it has champion QL6VC now.

If it haz carbs, and haz NO paint on it, then it's moss likely a 245(thats a 260 witout tha horn)...Tha paint(or should I say NO paint, iz tha key)...REX :cool:

It has no paint so guss it is.I have another problem I just blew the second skeg off the lower unit,it is the CLE gear case. Both times I was going around 35mph and hit nothing.Has anyone had this problem?
