hey guys..
i just brought this one home. hopfully ill have it ready to kick some ass at the rumble :eek: its a factory light layup boat. it was raced in the mod vp class a while ago but is still in great shape!! heres some pics:)

heres the transom.. looks pretty solid. ready to kick ass (once i get a powehead.. mid and lower unit) haha
what do u guys think? o btw there may be some drag racing in this boats future :eek:

the motor from the vixen might end up on this boat.. unless i build a 2.4 and switch the parts over (the efi parts). depnds how much i work and how much $$$ i get..
brb i was thinking of buying that midsection for the vixen untill i bought this boat! im glad your getting good use out of it at least. ill cya in august!:)

the boat is 19'2'' long. its not the 16ft version. speeds..anywhere from 80mph+++ :)
i will hopefully have it ready to rumble, seeing that dad thows in a few $$ to help me pay for everything.:)

I had a 2.4 on my bote, and it ain't no light weight...2.4 wit tha 10pack, 1:87 geer, 24" yamaha, 92.4mph!!!.....30" cleaver, 98.7mph and down trim solinoid went south, and had ta lift!!!.....Now haz all tha seets and new transom...stringers and rear seetz are treeted 2X4's, wit 5/8 floor...total weight with me and 18 gallons ov gas, 2472#s...stock 200, 2.5...1:87 geer, 25 4blade prop...78mph!!!...
It'z gunna suprize ya on performance, and will be tha bess drive'in bote ya ever drove...an if'in ya wanna win sum easy money, juss bet ANY boat out ther that U kan out turn him!!!...Kuz they ain't NUN that will out turn a 380 laser!!,,,NUN!!!
Oh yea, I have seen a few mississippi river races that a Laser run 95+ while carry'in 60 gallons ov gas!!!...wit 200's........

thanks rex! well i was thinkin the slowest it would go was 80..haha the fastest.. well just have to see:) its still got the little left turning fin on the boat so if anyone wants to try to circle race im ready:)
i just gotta get back out and finish up my boat so i can start to spend monre money i dont have on this one! :eek:
rex the 2.4 you had, was it modified inside? (porting, exaust.. etc etc) or just the 10pack?

It wuz modified, it wuz tha Fab-4 that Prof OB gave me tha specs on...wuz a strong motor, even wit carbs!!...REX :cool:

I was watching that boat on ebay and i thought you had lost the bid :( but it seems iwas mistaken :) that 12 inch mid will probaly have to go, the lazer has a 22 inch transome. I have the 15 inch on 6 inches of set back there is a good picture on hydrostream .org from this years ct river run. Like i told you before I love this hull. for what you are doing it is the bomb. If you need a gas tank I have two that are laying around, 12 gallon Plastic and an 18 steel? anyway congrats :D
