I just got the word indirectly from Galen Burden through Dewitt Deweese. He is talking. No broken bones or wounds. They are still checking him out.

The boat is on its way to Chuck Martini's shop to salvage what they can.

Our thought and prayers are with you and your family.

Fiberglass and aluminum can be replaced, we need to save all the boat racers there aren't enough of us anyway. Wayne, thanks for the quick update. That was scary to see the post and not know Ro's condition. Thanks again.

The local news has been showing a clip about the blow over. He was rescued by some jet skiers in the area. The boat looks repairable, Missing some pieces but doesn't look that bad. Hope you are OK Ro.

My prayers go out to him. That is a name that has been around for a long time. He is obviously very dedicated to the sport. Does his boat have a full capsule? If so, that may have made all the difference. Everyone, be careful out there!

Th boat is a full capsule Triad It did help save his life. A friend of mine just left mhere he was helping with the boat after the crash. He descibed the boat as not repairable. the boat was submerged when the rescurers got to him he had to be cut from the capsule and given CPR.

Just talked with Ro. As always, his spirits are good with his great sense of humor. The doctors are keeping him in the hospital for observation due to the amount of water he took in to his lungs.

Ro is a great competitor and friend. People like Ro is what boat racing is about. He and Charlie are the best!

Ro, you are in our prayers and we wish you a speedy recovery. If there is anything we can do, please do not hesitate to call.

Being 21 and an outboard racing junkie, Ro Yale has been someone I've looked up to and often admired. I'm also from Texas so I have heard Ro's name many times through the years. I hope he's gonna be OK, the news sounds promising. Thanks to everyone for the updates. I know when Ro comes back it'll be Balls to The Walls again...Good Luck Ro

Dang Ro,,,,I liked dat purple paint.:)

Haven't been on the boards due to the paying job and a lot of travel lately:(. Hate to come on and see something like this. Going under with no breathing air and in panic mode is one of the scaryest things I ever went through. Convinced me that if straped in, an air system is a must. You know, we spend thousands to make a ride fly. Less than 2K more is cheap insurance. I feel for you man. No one should go through a crash.

Hope things are good and gods speed to recovery. We are all behind you.

Jeff

This company, Tiger Performance makes a helmet that comes with attached onboard air. Check it out. Be sure and wear helmet restraints also with a helmet like this too.
