View Full Version : It Never Fails
I'm on my way to the Christmas Light Boat Parade and one of the units on the Silverwing is full of water. Why does something like this always happen?
Newport Beach around Balboa island.

Gathering this evening at RiverDaves, before or after the Parade in Irvine, a boaters Christmas party.
Would love it if you have the chance to stop by.
RiverDave will get you all the details, address, telephone, if you have the chance.
We are going by my mom's Christmas Party afterwards but thank you for the invitation.

It never fails when you really want to do some thing.Last summer my buddy had big 4th bash on the water planned we all had been waiting for weeks for the day. my 2.5 powered 18 tunnel had been running flawless for months, loaded up on the big day fired up idled out steped onit and she quit started right back up idled fine step onit would quit needles to say a few words were flying. didnt even want to look at it.the problen actually stumped for a while good fuel press idled fine turned out the fuel pickup tube in the tank broke off i quess right as i came on the last trip.as soon as i tried to go the fuel ran to the back of the tank it would suck air and die the boat would flatten out get fuel and crank back up.we made it to the party eventually just had to drink more beer.

That's why we bought tickets on one of them big boats..crusied for two hours....Didn't have to look out for other jackasses...Just "kicked it".
They call it John Wayne's house.. But Elgin Gates built it for himself...Elgin was the Mercury Distributor...paid $100 per foot for Newport Beach. When He sold his business to Mercury Marine, he move back to Needles....
Irvine? That's where I live...

if you aint makin enough hp your not breakin any parts, thats what they sey. hey got a question for ya, thinhin of putting a 130 hp nitrus on the twins. what is your opinion on engine wear and cylinder shape or roundness with the use of nitrous? i also have 26cc heads opened to 32cc, do you think they will hold? hillbilly don
Squares your troubles yes but cuts your tow ins by 100%.
Don, I don't run Nitrous on my stuff so I can,t tell you first hand about the egg shaped cylinders however I have rebuilt a few S3000 nitrous motors and the cylinders are usualy pretty straight for being on a bottle. I think 32CC will work fine but they are just under what I run on pump gas.
