Rob, check this link: JSRE Spacer Plates (http://forums.screamandfly.com/forums/showthread.php?t=60552)
And this link (http://forums.screamandfly.com/forums/showthread.php?t=70203) too.
The JSRE EFI spacer plates include all hardware and linkage. It's a very nice product!

Rob,
It's half the cost of the Mercury spacer, and in my opinion looks better too. The machine quality could not be better. Those that have purchased them were very pleased, and I can't wait to get back to Florida to try mine!

Rob ,
Sorry just have neglected to "clean up" and "add to" the web site this year , there are a bunch of satisified customers that have sent us nice pictures to add to the photo gallery and thats a high priority on my list.
The spacer plate kits are selling as fast as they can be produced and are about 1/2 price what a Mercury is . Ours are not cast it is 6061 Billet and two things different in ours than the Mercury one is the linkage extention . We were forced to make a custom piece due to continuing backorders from Mercury so I made a piece like the black slider that fits the horn butterfly but 1" longer..... It too is 6061 and polished. And as I said price advantage of ours over Mercury........
Thanks for inquiring !

Hey Jay , could you tellme why the extention piece has a slot in it, is there a reason for this why not just a hole same size as the butterfly shaft

Mercury wanted the 260 to be very retarted on timing when starting and idleing , they slotted the adapter so that when your foot is NOT on the throttle it is retarted ( Timing ) and when you start to apply pressure , after the motor is running it advances the timing before the butterfly is cracked so that the heat of the spark timing advances before fuel is delivered so that the fuel vapor doesn't hit a cold timed motor and bog ! A lower starting timing makes the starting process easier on the starter and makes for a smoother, slower idle speed and easier to slip into gear at this lower idle speed ....
Good luck !
