Propshaft Seals?

Sorry for another newbie question but the information I have received on this forum has been very helpful.

On a CLE gearcase, can the propshaft seals be changed without removing the bearing carrier?

The only way to replace the P/S seals is to remove the carrier, you also need to use the proper tool to set them straight & to the proper depth.

Props4u2 is right. You need to pull the carrier, Do it right the first time and it'll last longer. Gearcases are too pricey use short cuts. ;)
