I have a chance to buy a Vegas XT. I haven't seen it yet. The owner threw the interior away. He pulled up the floor because it was soft around the ski locker. Do the stringers run down each side of the locker on this boat? He told me that they are soft in this area on top. He cut them down about 2" and says the wood is solid. The transom and gel coat are in good shape. The steering and gauges are in the boat. The windshield is there also. Trailer is average. Is this boat worth $1500.00??????? George

I just bought a Vector, However I was looking at 2 prior to purchase, I know somone with a clean vector, factory interior (back to back seats) inline 6 and on a trailer for 1800.00 He sent me pics and I scanned them. He seemed to be real straight up and pleasant to deal with. Not sure if still available. But let me know and I will give you his email and send some pictures.
Nice lookin boat and ALL there !

If the hull looks OK and you don't mind doing ALOT OF WORK or are prepared to pay someone who knows what they are doing I would maybe offer $1000.00. You will need at least 200 HP and about 10 inches of set back if you want it to really run 80 ish. Where the Vegas shines compared to it smaller brothers and sisters is in the rough stuff and interior room. The Vegas is a big boat and will run well with the right set up. What you got to ask yourself is if you want a project boat or not.You could easily spend 2000-4000 on the hull floor, carpet, seats ,etc. but it would all be new when you are finished.Good Luck and Happy Holidays

Honestly I would pass on the boat and get one that is already done. I just sold my 15 foot Viper for 2K with new core, new floor, new seat pedistals, new front seats, TOTOALLY rebuilt 1500xs powerhead and redone trailer. I know the guy is selling the boat now if you are interested. The guy now kyaks if you can believe that!!!! You will be into this boat for a lot more then it is worth. If you want a project for project sake then go for it but do not expect to get your money back.
