I have been an R/C junkie for years now.
I'm always interested to see other peoples rigs, and the mods they come up with.
Post a pic of your toy. Let's see them.

The above pic is obviously a dummy. :p It was for a joke on another thread (8.3 Hydrofoil for sale)
It has a modded 35cc weedeater motor powering it currently.
I've got others I can post pics of later.

Here's a pic of my modded Nitro 4Tec. Upgraded suspension, tuned pipe, etc...
It will run 60mph+, if you can keep it in a straight line. Even with four wheel drive it gets pretty hairy after 40mph!

Rear drive elcetric powered by an Option House 240WS motor.
Suspension upgrades, full ball bearings, etc... They race these on indoor carpet tracks usually.

I had a similar problem with the stock Traxxas controller.
The tabs inside the hand held unit weren't enough to keep the AA's held in tight all the time.
I just used a piece of tape on the inside of the removable battery cover.
(double sided tape, but only peeled one side off)
This seemed to do the trick.
My r/c boat's pistol grip controlled had a similar problem.
Too many years of use I guess?
Check the receiver pack too. Weak solder joint, crack in the wire?
Supprised you can keep it running when it's that cold.
Nice Tmaxx. Still kinda regret selling mine some days.
