Does anyone know what the specifications of the DVA adaptor or a Peak Reading Voltmeter needs to be. I can't find the CDI DVA adaptor anywhere in the UK, but was wondering if a digital multimeter with a response time of around 1 second would be adequate (On either AC or DC settings), because buying a DVA adaptor or Fluke voltmeter that has a peak reading function will cost nearly as much as a new stator.
Thanks
Matt

Fluke makes meters that respond very fast. The model I have Fluke 88 even recored min-max-average measurments. It's so fast it can measure injector times around 5 milla-seconds or less! Another choice would be an osilascope.

You can purchase a DVA adapter at http://www.esitest.com
Click on the on-line catalog. Then click on the marine professional hand held test equipment. The model 640 sells for $35.00.
