any one have any idea where to get a fuel pump for a 93 260 merc drag motor?besides the dealer,over $500 list ouch.got a buddy that is in need of one if any one has one layin around or knows where to purchase a new one for a more reasonable price.thanks.

Your message is a little unclear: The fuel pump for a "drag" motor is not the same as for a "260". You can tell which pump you need by the color of the pressure regulator. They are "Gold" for 39 PSI or "Black" for 56 PSI.

If your buddy wants a brand new Mercury/Bosch fuel pump which will work with a 39 PSI (gold) pressure regulator. I have one for $295.

well i will have to ask him tonite whether he has a 260 or a drag motor as he as always reffered to it as a "260 drag motor"i will have him check the color of the press reg and get back to you.thanks.jeff.
