How do I email, or Private Message, a link to a thread?

I highlight the address up at the top of the page and press "ctrl" and "C" at the same time. Then I go to the message that I want to send and where I want to put it I press "ctrl" and "V" at the same time. It will paste in.

I figured it out after I posted DUH. I'm getting old and sometimes just can't escape those momentary lapses.
