Whats recomended min. water pressure, I need to raise my motor and I don't have a low water pickup, I do have a 3 hole, nose cone l\unit though. I'm running 20psi at full speed and level trim at this time. Thanks for any help!

That would be a minimum number, I think. Mine is close to 30@WFO.
Hope this helps, Steve

I've been told that 20 psi is the minimum. Mine is over 30 at wot. How old is your water pump? My psi improved a lot when I changed my water pump. What kind of gearcase do you have? Lightning case?

Where the pressure gauge is attached makes a difference on these engines. It should be attached at the power head adapter plate right under #5 cylinder, at this point it should be at 20 psi. 92 and prior t into a hose coming from this fitting and need 15.

Thanks for the replies, Yes I have a factory nose cone foot with lowered water intake. I have motor on a 20xd Bullet, Prop shaft at 1\2" below the pad, running a good 20psi at 76mph. I need more height, next 1\2" drops pressure to 15psi. I wasn't sure if that was enough for a OMC motor.
