R/D will those reed blocks convert my Merc from the rose petal type reeds to somethin' like the V-6 Merc's use? Also, do the velocity stacks you have on those big bore carbs help, and if they do where can get a set?

I have Intake in progress as we speak. It will convert the merc to a v-style reeds cage. Those carbs are for a omc twin..... the stacks can be bought in a few places. For your merc, I have some nice coustom bolt-on billet tuners that are awsome. The omc style cages will cost around 1000.00 OUCH!!

give me a call 573/323/4840

rockdamage,

What can you do to a 94 40hp/30 Merc Jet to get some more power out of it. Can it be modified to run like a 50hp motor or am I better off upgrading to a 60/40 Merc. I normally jet the Meramec & Gasconade since I live in Washington, MO but I still come down to the Current/Two Rivers area once or twice a year. I want to stick with either motor of course do to the horsepower restrictions.
