What will the boat be used for?

Eliminator's 19' Daytona is probably still a good choice for lakes, but not for rock filled rivers.

Liberator builds alot of 20-21ft jets. This one is a blown alcohol motor with around 1200 hp.

It will be used mostly on the rockriver here in il. and some lake use.And the name implies alot.average depth is 5ft.

my main reason for wanting a jet is there is a narrow shallow passage in the rock that only jets can get through after that it is deep open water and NO traffic. It's really peacefull past that point. :D

in that case GO ALUMINUM OR GO HOME!!! Eagle, HarborCraft Jetcraft any performance aluminum race boat will work great, or even some of the fishing modles if your carring people and lots of them have good hulls for fast shallow runs and with right amount of tweeking can run into the 70's easilly... NorthRiver being one that comes to mind as well as Edge Marine

Eagle might be the fastest and does build Great Hulls that are either Steel Clad or .500 aluminum coated in UHMW poly.

BTW that pic of the boat on rocks doesnt hurt as much as it looks... unless you hit that a t like 35-40 mph.... then you body takes the abuse... not the boat.

I am familiar with shallow waters here in NW and rocks arent the only obstical... sand, pilings ect all try to make their way through the bottoms of boats here.

Nicest Jet I have run across when it comes to fit and finish. Top notch accessories, interior, instruments, etc. Mine is a 95 20' with a 300HP 350 carb and will run up to 55 mph max. Does great on the rivers, and I take it to Prince William Sound every August for a couple weeks of fishin'.

It will be paid for next summer too! (2nd owner).

I love white water jetboating. This is a Qwik Kiwi hull from New Zealand. Worked pretty good, but not too much interior space. I crewed and navigated on this boat. Topped out at around 95 mph with a whipple supercharged and injected 502.
