converting a 200efi to a 260

I would like to put a 260 on my 1993 200merc. How big of a pain is this and what else would i need to do, is this a okay way to go or should i buy a complete 260. also how much could i pick up a 260 powerhead for and how much could i get for mine? thanks guys.

you would have to change or machine the adapter plate. you will also need a high pressure fuel pump, i suggest the bosch 984.

my boat requires a stock lower unit because it needs lots of trim, what about internal components of the lower unit for a 260 powerhead. Is a switch such as this a pain in butt?
