Replacing all the u-joints in a '78 Chevy 4wd front drive shaft. Does anyone have an illustration of how the ball and socket parts are supposed to be assembled into the Constant Velocity part of the drive shaft. This was was in really bad shape, some parts were missing, so I got the kit for it but need an illustration of how the parts fit. There are some washers & seals along with the new ball, but don't really know the order of assembly. If you have a Chiltons or other manual with the illustration, I would appreciate a scan or pic of it. Thanks in advance.

sorry I dont have a diagram but its kinda a no brainer if you look at all the parts, the ball goes in the socket with the spring pushing them away then the seal or cover goes over everything,be carefull when putting the u-joints back togther that a needle dont fall to the bottom of a cup! that will be the end of that joint also use a press not a hammer on that type of setup.
