What happened to Eustis??

Are any races APBA approved? If not I can't promote them in Propeller mag or the APBA website..Are any other classes invited to participate in the events??

Marc, ODBA is an entity all it's own. No APBA afiliation or sanctioning. As far as Eustis goes I don't know if they are racing under APBA sanctioning or not.

The Eustis race is April 16 and 17 as previously scheduled. ODBA decided to put a race on the same weekend in FL for some reason. I don't know why.

Edit, Jan 25, 05: It looks like the newest schedule eliminated the Eustis/ODBA conflict.

Holy Crap...

It looks like the ODBA is beginning to eat itself up faster than a PAC MAN could. It also shows how fast loyalty to a great venue can be disregarded.

My questions are:

Was this discussed at the Region 5 meeting??

WHY is the change being made??

Is this the same type crap that the Infamous USBRA sprung on FORA a few years ago??

Is the ODBA afraid that OPC's are again running at Eustis and may steal their thunder??

Since I am the writer for Region 5 I have to remain unbiased. Having said that my disclaimer is that the above questions were brought to my attention and typed by my cat Boo-Two. Blame him...
