135-150-175 hp I-4 Verado

For those in the know, whats it looking like for the small Verado as far as weight is concerned? With the I-6 listed at 635 (and the user weight being 700) what is the expectation of the I-4 weight? 450-500lbs?

dont get your hopes up, but by the looks of it less than 450. they work on 17' flats boats nicely. ;)

with or without all the other things necessary to run them....( steering, tany external pumps or ect?????)

its installed weight *should* rival a 150-175hp optimax... looking at the way boats sit in the water they cant be much different in weight.

anybody looking for a performance motor should wait till the show in febuary to make ANY judgements on what to buy from merc.

just too damn heavy. thankfully I have a barn full of stuff. Of course, the need for extra setback will be eliminated.
