I bought myself a pocket bike last spring. Kind of an impulse purchase.
I'm 6'4" and have put several hundred kms on my little bike. Belive it or not.
A few of my buddies have them now too, so we rip around the parking lots, and then neighbourhood every now & then too.
There are some real pieces of crap out there, that look very similar to my bike. The market has been flooded with Chinese knock offs, for a fraction of the cost, so be careful you know what you're buying.
I've changed the carb, reed, exaust, etc... so this little thing really moves along now. (approx. 65km/h after the mods) :D

A buddy had one of the $1500 versions a few years ago for a pit bike. It was piped and running race gas. It was a riot but the footpegs were so tiny, I had a hard time keeping on them at speed.

Here is the scull cracker!
Started with a 43cc motor that I modified. This motor is a 52cc Robin Fuji motor... Mostly stock with custom intake and 15mm carb.
Next is a 57cc modified PBU. 17:1 compression, 16.5mm carb, stroker crank, the list goes on.
I will have a full writeup on it when she is done.

Serial #1. Next one will use the GX 50 engine when I figure out how to mod the crank to adapt to the Visa gearbox.

I've built several mini choppers with buddies over the pst few years.
We used a side shaft Tecumseh 5hp with a Comet Torque-A-Verter.
If you're not familiar with it, look up Comet Clutches. They're awesome!
19:1 ratio that switches to a 5:1 at about half speed. Just twist & go.
We clocked our last one at 73km/h on a hand held Bushnell radar gun.
My buddies latest creation has a 20hp v-twin in it! NUTZ!
We are having a hard time finding a suitable clutch system. 20hp will just melt the belts off a normal torque-a-verter (good to 9hp max)
Nice to see we're not the only one building these silly, but so much fun toys.
This isn't one of our frames, but is very similar to the one we built.
Lowrider bicycle front tire (16" wheel), and a golf cart rim & tire for the rear.
We were very fortunate to find a person with access to a machine shop, so we had all of our triple clamps, and bar clamps made from aircraft quality aluminum. So they were strong and a perfect fit every time.

Its an FMF Fatty for a KTM that I modified and made an exahust adapter brackets and Silencer.
This machine has allot of RPMs for a stock motor pipe and carb.

This is my Rupp Rascal, late 60's vintage I think. I got it for free when we all got out driver licences in the 70's. Originally was purple with a black seat. Would love to put a Comet Torque-A-Verter on it but I don't think there is room. Love the bike, it's great fun!

Here's one of my KV 75 Kawasaki's. Built from 1970 thru 1980. Have 3 runners,
5 beaters, and enough parts to restore all of 'em.

Here's a pic of Comet's Torque A Verter.
It will fit any Briggs/Honda/Tecumseh, etc...
As long as you have a 3/4" shaft on the Rupp, and 4 factory pretapped holes evenly spaced around your motor's drive shaft, it should fit.
The mounting plate has been drilled to fit just about any small horizontal shaft motor under 9hp.
They sell for around $150USD, and worth every penny!

:D Here's my Chopper coming out of the Box!! It's got a real working Springer front end and a 32cc motor . Not sure how fast it goes but I can out run my boxer on it!!! I luv it cause it fits in the back of my big boat and gives me something to run to the store on (at least that's what I tell my other half ,I don't know where I would carry anything) But I have put a ton of miles on it at bike shows and Just around the neighborhood down in Fla. I would Love to pipe it and make some mods but havn't had time. I just got the ape hangers for it !!

If somone likes it I became a dealer and have sold a few to friends I'll pass on the same deal to S&F members. They also make a Crotch rocket , A softtail version also a pit bike there made in USA and are put together well.
