So what was the result of the meeting?
Are there more runs planned?
Any rules to ponder over the winter?
Did Jerry buy Joe dinner or did they fight all night?
Did T2X show up and complain about everything everyone said?

Inquiring minds want to know,

Bert

The reason why jerry didn't buy me dinner is bec he need the money for that high hp motor he might be building or the the x

So by that comment i guess you will have a unfair advantage..... Please i hope you will beat me if you have 425 hp. I would still question you driving skills with that amount of hp.

What height you running at?
26p trophy?

very cool
come early because i have to leave about 12:00

SUPERBASH
12-03-2004, 11:50 AM
Yes BLKMTR...26TrophyPlus. It's set at 3" below right now. I had the motor in "trailer" trying to get the r's up there. Going up to 2 1/4". Its where she runs best all around. I like the lower height for the ruff. Gonna need smaller Trophyplus. Conditions were a perfect head on 1' chop.

- Thanks Hoser. Hoser has a very nice office. Wall to Wall SUPERBOAT decor :D

Love the way trophys grab in the rough and corners, even at elevated height, right now mine is even with the pad but I am thinking I will put it back down one hole to 3/4" below...
I still can't decide if I need a jack for more fine adjustment, but really don't want or need any more setback...

Just too many choices :D

Wish I was closer to New York.Well maybe not this time of year!Just got done mowing the lawn here and will be going fishing tomorrow. You guys have a great thing going up there on Great South Bay.There are enough of you S.O.B.s to keep things interesting for sure! I hope to have my Apache rigged out by next summer and would love to meet some of you for a run up that way.I doubt I'll ever get the big speed numbers you all do but I like to see the fast guys run.On another note T2X knows what he is talking about. Kill switches, life jackets, and helmets are the way to go when running on the edge.Take the safety gear off when cruising around but put it on before pushing the limits.Take the advice of my Grandmother; "Dont be good because being good ain't no damn fun....Just be careful..."

jerry
12-03-2004, 07:20 PM
JNT , take off the safety gear when crusin ? are you telling jerry that you cant be throw from a boat at 50mph and knocked out ?

JnT
12-03-2004, 07:42 PM
Not at all Jerry. If you feel unsafe at 18 mph or whatever your boat planes off at, by all means put on the safety gear. Keep within your comfort zone. You have to use your own judgement.

Consider me unsubscribed from my own thread.

My rig is equipped with a k/s for the driver, there will be switches for each person onboard with an extra lanyard tied to the dash so retrieval is quick for any man overboard.

Jackets are mandatory

Helmets save you from this:

Sam instead of killing the motor, perhaps it would be benificial for the boat to circle around (like a jet ski) so you could retreve the cooler quicker :D

Letting Jerry post on the internet is like giving a four year old a gun and a bottle of Jack Daniels.

T2X I think you need to know the players a bit better, but, you do have a valid point. You are a bit too quick to jump to conclusions. Jerry is actually a good driver but lets his comments here tell a different story. Personally it isn't funny to me either as I have been flung out and had damage to my head. HAHAHA so funny, glad some of you think its a joke but it happens ....FAST.
If you start a serious thread,, expect it to be filled with sarcasm and mocary.

Merry Christmas freaks,

Bert

Believe me I know these players ...very....well..... Most of us have breakfast and lunch every Saturday at East Coast Marine......

Jerry's appetite is on display repeatedly....but I think I actually eat the most donuts.

Jerry's driving style seems to consist of ...... "Wow!...When I hit the "up button...I go faster!"... Unfortunately....He isn't the only one on that same "mission to the moon".....

Helmets and jackets and kill switches and up trim for Christmas all around.

T2x;)
