What a neat boat. My father had one in the 50's with a dk red & white Johnson on it............... a 30. I have a Johnson just like it now, but no boat.

Same manufacture as Beaver's, but this one has a Mark 75 waiting to hang on it. 1957 Feather Craft, Vagabond II, 14'7"

Sometimes find them on e-bay. There isor was a Feathercraft site. Do a google search. You can find them but they are usually expensive. Not uncommon to find one with a bare hull for $2K.
Olegator has a good one with a Merc. Give him a e-mail.

Nice trick with the gearcase Bev!!! How does it suck in water with the pickup removed? What make prop is that? Looks like a reworked OJ?? How fast will it run?

Not sure about speed (30-32)? L/Unit has pick up in front just above prop shaft. Thats a v-4 oj that B&B propeller in Ft. Worth fixed up for me.

Really enjoyed walking around your place last summer... You have some pretty cool stuff out there... Beaver pretty much has a museum out there for old OMC's... Really incredible...

Hey I went by your place over off off Jacksboro a couple weeks ago and your truck was there but the windows were covered over and I thought you might be sleeping.

........but I sure would like to see a KG7 or an KG9 on the back. Now that would be a combo!!! Nice rework of that prop however. That is a good engine. I have a pair of 18's, a '60, and a '59 and a '55 10 horse, but those are the only Johnnyrudes in my fleet. I just can't get away from the Mercs, I bleed black when you cut me. Or KG green. Or Cloud White........... You get the idea.

I know what you mean about bleeding mines omc. Thats 25 hp with a few mods.
