why cant i post nice big pics like most people. i have to stay small , like 640x640 and other people put up pics that are huge

If an image posted here is larger than 640 x 640, then is it being hosted off-site. You can use the "IMG" code and the image's address to post a photo from another site. For example, some people use Image Shack (http://www.imageshack.us) or some other free hosting site to upload their images to, so they can post to message forums.

That means "to the top".

No need to go out of your way to post large photos - actually, it's better if smaller images are posted since it saves bandwidth and the images download faster.

nope it wont let me go any bigger, 3.5X5" yes 4x6" nope . I see much larger all the time.
i open my kodak easy share crop to size and thats how big it allows me.

i got a question

why does a pic i size to 640x480 still come back as file to large then i size it to 500 and tha same thing then i size it all the way down to 400 and it still says file to large???????

Possibly because the file's disk size is too large. The maximum here is 100KB, I think.... More JPEG compression (lower quality setting) will correct that.
