STV owners ONLY. Mark down this date. Friday September 16th 2005, Patoka Lake Indiana. 12:00-4:00pm EST. Fastest outboard boats in the U.S.A. will be at this event. will there be other stuff besides the races? SOunds like fun either way, but my stv is a long way from being fast enough to race.

You don't have to be real fast, there are classes to run in. Classes are 70-80, 80-90, 90-100. We race 800 ft. This year the weather was bad everywhere but Patoka Lake. There were about 30 STV's there. Roark Summerford and Thomas Claybourn were also there. It was great being able to talk one on one with those two. The lake is clear and clean, ramps and parking is very good. Just a great place to race, ride and BS with everyone. Put it one tour calender.

Sounds like a good time, were is Patoka Lake located in Indiana? Looks like this is being done on Friday, got anything going on that weekend?

Patoka lake is in southern Indiana, about 20 mile's from Jasper Indiana. It is about one and a half hours north of Louisville Ky. It is a big lake ,clean water and many places to go fast or just ride. The reason for the Friday date is the permit to drag race. I hope all you STV owners will be there.
