Went to A HUGE non wing race In Ventura California last night (sat. 10/16/04) and it got rained out... love to see those 410" SCRA guys run. Most nights the track rules are 360"

The track was realllllllllly hooked up too... 1/2 the field was carrying tire the whole straight:eek: :D

for sprinters and silver crown cars.....Ryan Newman was our best customer. We built his midget engines also. They are by far a rush to drive.

Knew their would be some fans out there - I am one of the less competitive guys running around here - I need more sponsors or just one wiyh alot of money !

These boys here are the best week to week competition in the world here - right near Williams Grove, Port Royal, Lincoln, Selinsgrove, Susquehanna - All nice tracks

I've always loved Outlaws, remember when they used to show 'em on ESPN, Thurday night thunder. I was an amped up 10 year old when I got home from school on Thursday's waiting for the races. And the King of the baddest circle cars on the planet.

2 prelims and two mains away from championship #19, unbelievable accomplishment. What a superstar, looks like he may have an heir to the throne in his son. He looks pretty impressive so far. Thanks for the years of entertainment Steve.

Iowa doesn't have the best week to week competition in the sprints in the world - that's only here - their are only two places in the country where the outlaws go where they might get beat 1 is in pennsylvania and the other is in california - but i don't want to argue with you - Kinser is the man "a master" - the pa posse beats the outlaws here more than they beat us here and our local driver FAST FREDDIE RAHMER is the winningest driver this season

woo's are the best show yes but when you cant ever get to see them you have to take what you can get.Sprints are sprints wherever you go.I know one thing that is a fact ......THE BIGGEST EVENT IN SPRINT CAR HISTORY IS IN ...YEP IOWA...its called "THE KNOXVILLE NATIONALS"..Ever hear of it???Like I said WOO's are fast and the best of the best but for down rite good old fashioned Sprint car racing. Its the bigest event of evry year.I've been there many times.

Yes Florida, we're not far from Barberville (Volushia County Speedway) which is where they are rumored to be running, I also heard during speedweek, but never heard it officially. If you get the exact dates please let me know so I can get the weekend off. Penn sure does put out some of the best sprinters in the country, hopefully we'll see some here in Florida this year. I guess the regulars will be there ??? both Kinsers, Lasoski, Dollansky, Meyers, Schatz, Paulas, ect. I guess I'm trying to ask, will it be a points race, unlike Austrailia. If so the regulars will be there. Anyway, I'm excited about it, if it happens.

Thanks for the good wishes, I did ok with the hurricanes considering what others nearby went through. We were fortunate, but we did get set back a couple months with clean up and repairs. About to get it all done.

Just thought I would revive a very old Post. Woo's the best and the Noxville Nationals is still tops in my opinion. My wife and I have been going to Koxville since before the first Nationals and the wings. We usually go every other year and year before last we went in our 37 Ford street rod pulling a 63 Airstream Bambi that I restored. Looks as if Steve is still the man.

only problem, he's no longer the man in WoO. :( Still went to the Steveless show this year. Since the NST wont be near Florida.

Steve and all the rest will probably be at Knoxville and that will make my year. It will be a long trip from east Texas if they are not there but if they aren't, I will be pulling for Sammy.

I don't understand why Steve would want to leave WoO but he has done it before. There must have be some things going on that we never hear about. How long do you think NST will last?

I don't know, I would think sprint cars wouldn't have the fan base or popularity to support two series. But as long as Kinser is in the NST, it will be the one everyone recognises as the real championship. You know, to be the best, you gotta beat the best. I like drivers other than Kinser, but who cares if Jac Haudenschild wins a WoO race, when he didn't beat Kinser to do it. I'd rather see a guy I like finish second to Steve, than win a race Steve wasn't in. Just my opinion, it could be wrong, but don't think anybody will care who wins this years WoO championship.

I think that I saw a NST schedule that showed that they would be in Knoxville during the nationals. I wish that there would be a boat race in that area at the same time.
