identify lower unit

i have an old merc lower unit with 2 intake holes above the bullet. it doesn't have pre-load pin or external hoses and grease plug is in bearing carrier. what is it and what's it worth?

I think thats a Mod VP unit.:) If in good condition it's worth $500-$750, I guess. :confused:
