Does anyone have any experience running a twin turbo setup on a jet boat?

I've been running the turbo's for two seasons now after running a blower for the three seasons previous.
Turbo / intercooled / EFI is the ultimate way to go.
Do a lot of studying before you jump into a project like this.
Those old Gale banks systems will add some but their not made to put out maximum power.

Turbo / intercooled / EFI is how the import car guys get 8 hp / ci from an engine.

The turbo's work great with a jet or vdrive but every one I know who tried it on an I/O had many broken outdrives.

Wow is that cool! Where do you like to run that around here? I'd like to see it go some time. I love turbos, they can really get the job done. It has been the tunable EFIs that now let you run that system so well. Lot of people still messing with blowers though.

I run up at Hardy most of the time but I've also been to Torch several times this year and even towed down to Table rock Missouri for the Laid Back boaters meet.

Those tuning videos were from last year before I got a wide band O2 sensor. I was running way rich and that was holding the performance back. It accellerates quicker than that now.
Now that I've used an O2 sensor I'll never go boating without it.
I've got a dial mounted in front of the seat and I can fine tune the fuel mixture as I'm driving.

The video that says "7 second run" was with my old boat and the blower motor. You can really hear the belt screaming.

I was thinking that didn't sound like a turbo whistle, err, a dual turbo whistle:cool: But still fast! Can really hear the motor in the tuning one. I've had a couple turbo cars, now a turbo diesel, and I really like them. I was going to stop by Hardy Saturday and scan from shore, but the weather was so-so and I figured nobody would be running.
