When people mention an octane rating in the US, say 93 is that a MON or RON rating. And is 93 what you call standard pump gas

And it is considered premium pump fuel. Also available are 87 and 89 octane. 87 is normally called regular, 89 is unleaded plus, 93 is premium.

In the UK our standard unleaded is 95 RON and I think about 87 MON so that would equal your 91.

In the U.K. what is the RON and MON for your premium ? (if regular is 87MON/95RON (91 pump) ?)

Usually, the highest RON rated gasoline you can get in Europe is 98, equivalent to (R+M)/2 93.
