It's down to get ready time for SMOKIN IN THE COVE. If you want some FREE publicity and maybe a picture in the local paper(s), they want to print a decent article, sent in PICTURES, A WRITEUP ABOUT YOU OR YOUR TEAM, OR SPONSOR OR WHATEVER!
We all like to see our names in print, so you have to tell them so they can write an article. The newspaper did this last year for some of the racers, but we could use more information from more racers. So delegate the chore to the "GIT IT DONE" person and get in info in the mail. And you would mail this info to: ( Print this and cut out the label).

This is cool! :cool: Do you know what size pictures they might want? 8x10? 5x7? or on Disk?:confused:

I wrote SITC to see what they were going to do about Publicity! I wish we could get some local guys (or guys to come in early) and get thier boats in the Malls or Wallmarts parking lot's to stir up Spector intrest!:)

I was in a Bar last year on Saterday night talking to some locals (Hot Springs) and they knew nothing about the race! They told me there was no newspaper adds or radio adds that they had seen! :( But, after talking to us they and about 6 of thier freinds came out Sunday and loved it!:D And they will be back this year too!

I was up on Lake Whitney yesterday and met Marty Logan and his crew...cool people. I spent a lot of time talking to one of the guys that works with him and races with him (name slips my mind damnit)...They showed up in a triple 2.5 Merc Talon. Anyway, thanks to all them for an enjoyable Sunday afternoon...:D
