Well for this year anyways. Had the boat out all last week on vacation.. The pathetic 135merc pushed it to 57.4mph on gps spinning the 24 pitch chopper just over 5000rpms. Im looking for something around 200hp to hang on the back next year. I have no running pics, but a bunch of ones sitting at the dock, so hear they are, let me know what ya think...

Looks damn awesome, wouldn't even know it was the same boat! Did you make up that paint scheme yourself? It looks so good on the boat.

Your Vector looks great! Awsome job on it. Looks like you got your interior custom made. I am surprised that the 135 would only turn 5000rpm. Is it not running right?
I sent you an email.

Real sweet, congrats ! That 135 should give more, my 120 V4 gets my Vista to 60@5500 with a 24P raker and it weighs 1400 with gear and me. BTW did you sell your Fibertron?

Hey man that looks great you`ve gotta send before, after and during pictures to the hydrostrem registry for a spot light boat.
They eat this kind of thing up. as far as power go a head and put
a mod motor that makes 225 or a little better and you will have a unit that will go as good as it shows. 240 hp with 5 in set back
motor height between 1/2 and 1 inch above pad and most inportantly center streering or counter weights to insure lateral balance. Great job I totally reworked my 79 viking 3 years ago
and have been very pleased with it since. Thanks for keeping another strem alive.

thanks everyone,

to answer the intior question, I made the bucket seats last year at work, and made the bench in the back this year.. I had the upostered by reds upolstery 705-754-4949 in Haliburton Ontario, he seems to know his stuff and the price was right. I think the motors running right, the prop shaft is still bellow the pad, and i have done no work setting it up yet.. After months for sale the fibertron and motor finnally sold...

How do i contact the hydrostream registry?? i could not find an email anywhere??

Bryan

How far is that from Detroit? That upholstery looks absolutely the best I have ever seen in a Vector. Would you be interested in making another set of fronts and rear!!?? I am restoring my 1977 Vector this winter. What did they charge you for the work, in U.S. funds?

Bryan, that has to be one of the nicest vectors I have seen. It's beautiful!!! Congrats man, gets my vote for boat of the month...

Alan

BTW, did you keep the foam filled boxes in the side of the boat or did you do something else? I thought I read somewhere they were structural.

Is Mark C. the IHR I thinks? I read he would post new boats in as he had time last I knew....sure he would like to put that one in.

Looking sharp!

You made the seats? I made new bucks for a boat, was not bad for them but they were flat pieces.

I forot, Alan, i didnt put the foam boxes back in, john never mentioned anything about them to me, and when the new core was put in the glass goes part way up the sides. And boat of the month would be pretty sweet, hint hint!!!
