When I was looking for gauges, Rickracer steered me onto the Livorsi BassPak promotion. I went for the white gauges with white bezels too and they're very nice.

I just requested the catalog. Are your gauges pretty stable? What do you think that GPS speedo costs? Your gauges are not liquid are they. How do you like them?:)

The only gauge that I've ever noticed any issue with is the speedometer. The fastest I've gone through heavy chop is low 60s and there's no question the speedometer isn't perfectly stable under those conditions. Maybe it's just my lack of ability to focus when I'm taking that kind of pounding. It's still easily readable though and shockingly accurate. I'm amazed at how close the speedometer compares to my GPS. It's dead on. The other gauges are stable in all conditions I've seen.
If I were to be critical of the gauges I guess I'd have to say that I don't care for how the tachometer is metered. What's with RPM x 100? Wouldn't RPM x 1000 make more sense? What's more, the fuel and trim gauges are metered extremely sparsely. It gives the impression that they are much less accurate than they really are. In the case of the fuel, I'm sure it is far more accurate than necessary but I'd have to bring a caliper with me to see how far the needle is from the closest calibrated mark.
Overall, I'd have to say the white Gaffrigs look great and add some class to my old CVX. They work great, too. There's no question; I'd buy them again.
I understand the benefits of a peak-holding GPS calibrated speedometer but couldn't you save a few hundred bucks by just throwing a hand-held GPS on the seat and going with a more pedestrian speedometer? My speedometer is plenty accurate for my purposes. The only time I take the GPS with me anymore is when I'm trying out a setup change and I want peak-hold of the maximum speed metered down to tenths of an mph.

Here's a picture of my dash when I first put the gauges in. There were no LEDs in when this picture was taken and very few switches. That's a depth gauge on the left. This version of the dash was never finished. I ended up having to pull it out of the dash and repaint it because a girl I took boating told me it was the wrong gray. Apparently, it stuck out like a swollen throbbing sore thumb. I'm almost completely colorblind so I was blissfully unaware of the garish faux pas that I was perpetrating on society.
