OH Yea, I'll have a t least one of our boats there!!! Right now I would have to say that I'll bring the 9 sec class winner from last year with me. Can't wait to run towards the mountain!!! See ya'll there.
Rick
Would not miss this reace for anything other than a weekend with Catherine Zeta Jones. That is highly unlikely (lets say impossible) so count me in.
Ray, Save us a spot. Plans are to get there Thursday.
Rocket, Is Marty making the trip?
Anyone who has not been to SMITC should make an effort to be there. Great race site and all the folks who put on the race are first class. Not to mention some of the toughest racing anywhere in the USA.
If you come to race you had better have your "s@%* together because most folks who come to SMITC are about as competitive as they come.

Why don't you try and recrute Mike Watt's? He Is the best damn A-boat driver in the country (IMHO).
If he won't race his Allison, maybe he would drive yours! ;)
We need a 8 second winner in our pit's!:D
Here's Mike at SITC last year! (Race'n the 8-second class but kept runing 7.99's)

Mike drove my boat at the first DSRA race. He is going to the last DSRA race in Alexandra as I was told by others. Yes he can drive an allison alright. If the races were not the same weekend then there would be no problem getting a driver. My boat is ready but someone needs a little seat time in it. I also need to know who they are so I can fill out the drivers report and send it in to Glenn. Damn, I guess I'll just have to watch this year. First year I've not competed in some time. Oh, well it's going to be fun anyway. You might remember me Rocket. We were top qualifier about 3 years ago in the 8 second class boat # 33 I just live over here in Kilgore.

Gosh Jim, We are neighbors! :D Kool!
Now give me your phone number so I can have you pick me up race gas from Lonestar, So I don't have to drive all that way! ( I buy beer from Coffee City!) LOL!
Last year was my first time to SITC, so i wouldn't rembember you. :(
But did you used to come to the Outlaw Drags on lake White Pattman (or whatever it's called) over in Texarkana? That's where I first met Mike Watts, Gallen, Rino and the gang! :) I was drive'n a big ol' 21' Liberator back then! I think we were in the 75mph class or something!
Were you at SITC last year? Did you see how good "Chops" did? He stayed in there for a while!:p
Jim, you make damn sure you come to the House of Color's pit's and say high! If you come after 5:00pm we will be serving Margarita's and Pina Coloda's!:D :D :D To any Outboard guys!

We took this boat to the run what you brung in Texarkana several times. One time I was pitted down next to the bathrooms beside the Hydro out of Ark. named free spirit. At that time I had this boat on Alcohol and nitro. No one would run against us. Except free spirit and we didn't have a chance against him. We did m,ake a pass but not against anyone. I have a 21 foot Liberator also. My phone number is (903) 984-0909 Home. (903) 984-8346 is my store. Call anytime at the store except Thursday, Saturday or Sunday. Right now I'm home. Be glad to pick up race gas for you. Then you can stop by here on your way to Ark. I have square 5 gallon jugs that I can get it in for you. How much you going to need.
