hey, well i found this right near where i live, a hydrostream hustler with a evinrude, i dont know what it is because the guy wasnt home when i called but i will let you know what he says, any guesses? in one of the pictures you can see a older mercury label, it doesnt look stock (obviously evinrude motor with mercury trim??, after looking at it im confused doesnt look like trim) it was painted grey and thats about all i know, is it a small gearcase like on the stinger? or a regular size ? short mid, looks to be in pretty good shape but hopefully i can see the motor if i get a hold of him, waiting to see what the price is any guesses?

Yes, the Evinrude Hustler was the same thing as the Johnson Stinger; same small case & ratio

Original paint scheme was blue and white

Hey Tyler, great find. Got 3 of them sitting here. I think it has enough trailer under it! :D 87hydro

Mercury clamp brackets and trim with the setback plate itself tilting. Looks unnecessarily heavy & complicated but I like everything else about it, especially the 3 cyl looper. It looks like a great find if it's in decent shape. I'd buy it if it was close.

When I was buying my Viper I still wanted one of those little hustler hulls. Seems like the guy told me he'd throw one in for a grand back then. I'm glad it's not close to me, I still think that would be a fun boat with the right power:D .

if you get it take the merc clamp off and use one ram through the transom like a old ep boat it will work better.

what is he asking for that? those motors are getting hard to find.that motor may have been raced at one time it looks like the exhaust is drilled out and a plate bolted on it now.

Thats a tilt and trim from a i6, rm is right its too heavy for that boat. The external trim pump makes it a pos for running all those hydraulic lines.

Actual the whole clamp bracket looks merc. I don't know if any other company used that style of tightening handles?
