avatar clarity??

How does one get resolution(clarity) in an avatar?? I got the resizing figured out but photo is not clear.

Need help.

The main problem with your old avatar is using too much compression. This parameter is set in the "Save as..." screen, set it around 20% next time and it should be fine. Also, when you re-size, set the resize mode to "bilinear" instead of "Bicubic." This tends to make the smaller images soft, yet clear.

Stream's image looks good.
