Hey I just bought a 86 Hydro Valero YT and was sitting here wondering what is the baddest outboard I can put on this thing?
Got any input?:confused:

It all depends on what you want to do with your boat, pleasure lake racer, allout race, reliable, give some info and you will get many opinions. LOL. What is your preference Merc OMC Yammie? all can be made to be very fast and bad but remember the badest usually cost the most and doesn't last very long.

how about one of them new Merc drag motors for the bargain price of $20,000!!! Don't get any better than that. 10,000 rpm's, SVS, hell go ahead and put you a Nitrox kit on there while you're at it.

If you're gonna do something, do it right...ha ha ha

There is a company that makes an OB turbine. They claim long rebuild times and all that.
They also want a second mortgage on your house.
