anybody have any experience with removing bottom paint ? this is for a 21 challenger with about 4-5 coats of antifouling slowing the boat down paint thanks ED

No, not that kind:D
There are plenty of chemical antifoul paint strippers on sale. I have used them before, some are better than others, but all are prety nasty.
I have seen hull bottoms media blasted, they can take the antifoul off one layer at a time, without damaging the gelcoat.

thanks allen could you explain media blasting ? i have spoke to a local guy that uses plastic as a medium to blast off bottom paint thanks ED

thanks dude! this guy i found will do it for 20$ ft. saw some results on some bottoms that came out sweet ED
