Hey I worked around and on alot of Jet Rangers.Looks like an allison turbine.How hot is it in the boat?How does the jet pump idle?The turbine idles at what 80%?Looks cool though.

Ya it came from Jet Ranger 206...

It is loud.and hot...The jet engine noise makes for that...Going to make pipes to send out stern,should help...Was going to cover engine but everyone is soo impressed by the way it looks...
The idle is at 60% .The pump is going faster than normal,but it is doable... Matt

Thats cool! I used to know weree alot of surplus OH58m parts were.There are alot around FT. Campbell On th tennesse and Kentucky line.The shop I worked at had two crates of NOS turbine parts they sent out of the base by mistake and were to lazy to reinventory the parts.If you need any help looking for parts let me know still have some decent contacts.You can try Dallas Airmotive.You might get some run out parts.Any way good luck lets see it FLY!!! Hey Delta do you have any connections for a complete engine?

I'd entertain doing this to my new alloy hull if I found a cheap motor. I live near Mark Nye and could use his expertise getting it going if I found the "core". I have a great hull coming and already have the pump
