I've been looking for a project jet boat and found a sleekcraft.
Found it on the side of the road and haven't talked to the owner yet. Price is 2200. It needs work but I'm looking for a project.
It appears to have had an emblem on the dash at one time that said monterey. It also looks like a small block 350 and berkeley jet. The model number on the jet was 12jc-b the best I could read it. Can anyone tell me more about this type boat?

727,
That is pump I have in jet boat in pics under (Turbine Pwr)...
Have made changes to impeller, from A to E...It will depend on what HP you run...Recip engines want low RPM to keep from breaking, but have lots of torque ...On my Turbine Boat it is the opposite...Higher RPM's the better...It is a very fine line with out spending all your cash...
There is a HP/Impeller chart avalible, check CP preformance web site or Go to Berkeley site
