Just got back home. Saw the fire. What a mess. I'm sure someone has got pics to put up. Gas, Alochol, NOS make's a lot of smoke. You would have thought a house was on fire. Engine looked like a burnt match stick.

He wasn't hurt. It happened at the boat ramp, fuel problem. The boat looks to me as a total loss, enough heat from the fire that it was melting metal.

It was the quickest boat there!!!!!!!! Hated to see such a nice boat lost. Thank GOD nobody got hurt thats the most important thing, they make boats everyday!!

It was Dave Saldecki from the Blarneys Island group. I'm glad he wasn't hurt also. I don't have pictures but it burned the resin out of the glass on both sponsons. He turned the motor over so it's free but will check it out. Yes he was the quickest boat there. He left me like I was standing still in the drags. He does his homework that's for sure. Hey Dave, now it's time for the hydro to come out and play!! Glad to see everyone there, I had a great time. Tom

I sho hate ta heer that...Dave iz a super nice guy, and hate ta heer anybody haz rotten luck like dat...I sold Dave all my 2.0 race stuff, I toll him it wuz too HOT for a 2.5!!!....Sorry ta heer about ya bote, but juss glad U iz OK...REX:cool:
