I am looking at an old Mercury 115 ,80s , inline 6 .
The price is ok , but maybe a little power .
Are there any way to add more power on those engines ?

This motor is probably a prop shaft rated 115 (same power as the 140/150 powerhead rated inline 6) and maxed out :(

Thanks for your answer Mark75H .
After some research , the inline 6 115 are an crossflow engine ?
So If I wanted a loop charge engine I would be looking for :
Mercury 135 1981 - 91 ( 2L )
Mercury 150 1979 - 91 ( 2L )
Mercury 175 1978 - 91 ( 2,4 L )
Mercury 175 1976 - 81 ( 2L ? )
If you wonder why , the answer is like this , just finished restoring a old 1964 Johnson V4 ( electric ;) ) and now looking for a new project , now a Mercury 6 cylinder
( if I can find one ).

Yes, all inline 6 Mercs are crossflow. V-6 Mercs are loop.
