Doesn't deal with speed, but this is why on those hot summer nights, out in a cove, we turn the generator OFF, at bed time...

Everyone was ok, and as you can see, it was early morning, but it only took 5-10 minutes to go from pic. #1 to pic #2...

do you know what happined? generators have lots of safety shut downs. it should have shut down before it sparked off the boat!
