Looks like I won't be making it to the Rumble this year. Sorry I'll miss ya. Think about going to Lake Kosh next month. We could caravan up to the St> Charles area and hook up with a bunch of other guys going there. There are no boats races where guys line up (except informally). Each boat runs against the clock. People that go there anually say it's great... and the show at the lakeside bar that night is a "stageshow.";)

I'll probably be out on cedar Lake this weekend. FINALLY got my interior parts back for the jetboat. Usually I'm hanging by the sandbar on the west side. I launch at Pinecrest Marina. Just watch for the maroon and white jet bowrider beating up on pontoon boats. ;)

Warlock, yep it's one of Wildman's, Jeff??? as far as running I've only had it out 2 times, I'm doing some testing tommorow with a new 32 et prop, the one thing I found out is that carpet, amps, subs, stereos add alot of weight but then again I never intended it to be a drag boat, the cleaver I tried Sunday with the family in the boat is not going to work with that much weight in it, I'll have the et for that, can't wait for the Rumble!!!!!!!! I'm working on friday so I can't get ther until midnight friday but I'll make up for lost time Sat. and Sun.:D See you guys there!!!!! off to work:mad:

To those that have been and those that are about to, remember one thing on attendee's.
Only about a third of them post on this board. Almost all read but a lot do not post. Most of the fastest guys do not.
Ray Neudecker and his gang are a good example. They don't talk crap but guess what??
A whole freagin caravan of them showed up last year and they all brought big ass sticks:eek:
Talked to Tony yesterady and the conditions are still perfect and forecast to stay that way.
To the "newbie" attendies, this town rolls out the red carpet for us every year, everything is within walking distance (just about), the ramp is like 50 yds wide, is in the middle of a grass covered park, which is surrounded by a paved road and parking.
There is a pub within staggering distance that rocks and has an outdoor Tiki Bar that has killed many of our brain cells:D
Hotel/Motels right off the freeway, 5 miles from the park.
Night time security in the park for the boats (never even heard of any incidents), a band, a killer air show over the river (thanks for convincing me on this one last year Tony), the Hooters girls, 3 days of grudge racing, 5 days of merryment and Mayhem, people from 18 states and 2 countries last year, more knowldege and experience in making O/B's "Scream and Fly" in one place than any place on earth, last year saw an exhibiton pass by the qucikest freakin O/B on the planet!!! and he was'nt even the only 3 point Hydro in attendance, a tech seminar by Jay Smith, Tony Brucato (Mr.SVS) drag racing his floating patio (think I beat you did'nt I :) ), GPS runs which gave us a 119 MPH Basser!!, 8 boats over 120, and 5 over 120!!!, some of the best drag racers in the country stepping up and bolting on bigg ass wheels.
So who's going to attend??
You decide.
Outboard Freagin Nervauna!
If you want to play, race, learn, meet, bull ****, this is the place to be.
See y'all in 5 days!!
Gary

Oh man Gary, I was excited before. But after reading your advertisement now. I'm just pumped up beyond belief.
I'll be finishing the Daytona in the parking lot, with a lot of help from some really good guys. Hopefully the Daytona makes it's inaugural voyage down there.
See ya all very soon.

I will be there thur. AM ( Wing Nut don,t steal my spot or at least save me 1 to run the Poker Run from) nothing fast to bring this year ( no time to put anything together) but I will have the catfish boat there to run the poker run with (big live wells hold lots of beer)
Anyone interested in the Poker Run , we should have a signup going by Friday some were around the pavilion, look for the sign. the Poker run will be Sat. afternoon and will be close to what last years was as far as length. $20.00 per hand 1/2 will go to charity and the other half will be paid back to the winning hands. This turned out to be a lot of fun last year, we had almost 80 boats on the water at the same time. I asume we will open the hands sometime before the band starts.
Tony I have one of my buddies bringing a 38' Baja to be one card stop ( should be easy to spot, and a great guy to party with) we will need 4 more boats or places to stop at, we can discuss it when I get there.
Kory, my son will be there again this year, he has his own rig this year, a Stratos basser with a rice burner.
Can't wait to see everyone.

See ya in a week
Rob
