The third Saturday event is closeing in.Just wondering If anyone new will be comeing to this race?Richard Martin, are you bringing anything new to the table?I hered something about a new boat for you.How about Wayne Weatherby or Dorsey Frabbot's boy and his nephew Doc?They got a fast STV and a bass boat that fly's pertty good too.Come on guy's even if you dont race your boat try and make it anyway.Its a lot of fun to watch.Somebody get Leonard Dix and his boy "SHORTMAN" from the Suwannee area.They got fast Allison drag boats too.The more boats we get to run will generate some payback money.So far the amont of boats doesnt even cover the racers insurance.Its time to step up to the plate so "BRING IT":eek: :D :cool:

Rob ,Done went and let the smoke out of my little motor . Going to be a little while before I get something back togather . Your sort of wright , there is something cookin at the house . Not real sure how well it's going to drag race . That's yet to be seen . The old Mirage 018 is up for sale if you might know any one over that way interested . I'll let it go boat & trailer for $4500.00 . I think that's pretty fair for a solid little boat . rmh , don't remember exact weights , somewhere between 1350 & 1400 pounds rigged with my 200 plus and 7gal. of fuel . Also depends on whose scale you use . Makes a good boat for lake and race . yellowally what size prop do u run when u race ur ally? i need 2 find a 1/4 prop all i have is big end props. 28,30,32

I mostly run a ....a good 26ET for everyday ridin - horse playin...

for 1/4 mile... I run a 22et that tight and progreses to more like a 23 on the big end.. still peters out @ 9200 right before the 1/4..

A got an loose 24ET also but it gets yur arse left out of tha hole..

I had a good Yammy 24 with a welded fat hub but I broke a blade for the 20th time on trying to run it yammy on a heavy fishin boat..

Jus what i found that works (OK/best) with tha 280's and 9200 ecu's and that also will fits tha big shaft. :o

ya my rev is @ 8250 soo i should try a 24 et? i had a 26 that i ran but it kept cracking blades. i tried this prop i donno what kindda cut its a 28 i ran 99 on the rev w/ full load and 2 ppl in about 3 miles

There are two Lake racer classes Pro lake racer and lake racer.Lake racer is 1650 and no more than 155 lbs compr,The pro lake racer class you can run any compr, and an efi motor must weigh 1600 lbs but any modification is allowed.:) Hope this helps you

Just got home.Yep it was rain rain and more rain.The wind was also to high.I went out saturday to check the course out.Made it about 100 feet before the nose of my Lightning shot to the moon.Thought we might have a chance to run today but still more rain.Was good to see all who came out and hope you OMC guy's come back for the next race.The next race will be at Lake wail's on Sept 11 th we will be racing along with some roundy round boats.Ron rescheduled our race to run with them on that weekend.There should be some kind of pay out to look forward to as well.Anyway we gave it a try and mother nature said no.We'll just have to get our fix on the Elleventh or at Sneads Florida for the ODBA race.Peace out Rob Lankford.

Yes its a splash of a river rocket.There are slight changes to the sponsons and to the deck as well.I dont think they help any but it is slightly different.:)
