The picture says it all. Had fun as always and the Amigo's are a first class bunch all the way. Tim, Steve and Mike you guys are the standard. I'm finding it hard to keep up. To everyone who was there and involved, my hat is off to all. This just keeps getting better. I enjoyed meeting everybody and can't wait 'till next year.

Congrats, Amigos ...............You guys earned it.

I've never been to a better organized event. It was a blast and more important it was for a good cause. Mike, meeting your Mother and brother brought all of the personal side of it home, I know how hard it is, and you and your family showed strength and class.
The Amigo's worked hard for this and it showed. My hats off.
Clyde.

I think it was obvious to all just how much work you guys had put into organizing this event. Whether it was the Poker Run, the tours, the auction, or the great places you had lined up for eating - well, it all went so well. Hats off to Mike, Steve and Tim!!

We also had a great time and we're glad to be part of it. It was great meeting alot of new faces and it was also a great time on the poker run.
The tours of the Merc plants were outstanding. My son had a lot of great stories to tell his friends when he got home.

Fantastic! Congratulations on a first-class event, and thank you for having Sandi and I along for the fun. We just got in after a 17-hour drive, so I'm about to get some sleep, but I had to check here first for the latest Balz To The Wall news.

Mike, Steve, and Tim - thank you for your hospitality and an awesome time. I also want to thank everyone at Balz To The Wall for making us feel right at home. I also want to say how great it was to meet so many people from the forums - just an awesome group of people we have here. Thank you so much everyone.

This sport is about having fun and giving - Balz To The Wall set one of the finest examples of these two constitutions I have ever seen.

You guys rock! I'll have over 200 images uploaded to the Balz To The Wall Gallery by tomorrow night.

Congratulations on the charity donation - I'm looking forward to next year already!

I wanted to say thank you very much to everyone that attended the Balz to the Wall event and donated so generously to the cause. I didn't meet all of you but it is obvious you are all special people. Special thanks to T-Man, Steve and my brother with all the hard work, planning etc. You guys really impressed me.

I'd like to share a little something about the weekend.....I had visited my dad just hours before the auction on Saturday and we talked a bit about the whole Balz to the Wall event. I was suprised to hear him talk openly about his disease. He had never done that before or even mentioned the word Alzheimer's to me. He jokingly asked if we could "find him a new head" cause his was all screwed up. We chuckled. Unfortanately we can't do that for him but certainly the $20k will help someone else down the road. Thanks again for all the generousity.

And thanks for letting me be part of this event, even though I own a big old Crownie! Hope I didn't make too big of a wake!

Oh yeah...it was a fantastik event (I even managed to sneak a Verado out the back door when no one was looking ;) ). Thanks to the Three Amigos for putting it together and hopefully it will be one more nail in the coffin of Alzheimer's.

I was really tired Sunday morning but was able to take the boat out after I mowed the lawn.

Thanks for the memories.

How in the world do you say thank you for such a wonderful donation? That is something that I have been struggling with since Saturday! Becky and I would like to thank you all not only for your monetary donations, but for all of the care and support that you have showed Mike and his family with your involvement of the event. It was such a pleasure to meet all of you, I was sad that I didn't get to say goodbye to you all though.

Becky and I would also like to thank all of our drivers, and to all of you for allowing us to be part of the event. We felt so welcome.

Jeremy and I are talking about getting a boat now... I knew that if I was able to get him there my plan would work!!!

Well, thanks again for everything. Should any of you need anything, please don't hesitate to give us a call. We have a toll-free number that works nationwide, 1-800-272-3900.

WITH SINCERE THANKS,

T

Eric, thanks for signing up and joining all the great people here at S&F brother. I knew there were a lot of people that were impressed with the whole event and had their hearts in the right place when I gave the final speech and presented the check. I don't think there was a person in the shop with a dry eye. It was very touching. Reading your first ever post here on Scream and Fly teared me up when again you said dad asked for a new head. I wish like hell we could get one for him. I really miss the father I once had. :(

WharfRat, Laker got it. I was his proxy bidder by cell phone. I don't think everyone knows but there was one bad detail this year to BTTW. Laker crashed his scooter Wed night in the parking lot at the hotel during registration. He banged his noggin pretty good. He is doing well but could not participate in the remainder of the event. He wasn’t released from the hospital until I believe Friday night or Saturday morning. Anyway, he was up and around enough on Saturday to be on the phone bidding. That is our pal Laker. Actually he is now our pal Captain Cranium !!!!! :D

Chris (Laker) now struggling with his more than awful headache, has donated the biggest gift of all for BTTW.... his head. Although Sorry Mike, I don't think your dad would want this one either!!

I hope your dad somehow improves his condition and your awesome donation makes that difference!!

Sorry we couldn't have been there Saturday, we were really looking forward to it!!!

Congrats again on an outstanding job. Can't wait for the next one!

How is this for great publicity of our sport. This is an e-mail I recieved from Sgt. Gerald J. Poltrock, II of the Weyauwega Police Department / Waupaca County Sheriff's Department Water Patrol.

Mike,

Deputy Gorchals and myself would like to congratulate you and your BTTW group for having a safe day of boating on the Wolf River. We were impressed with your deep concerns for all the boaters safety and the attention to detail that all the boaters had with respect to boating law. It would be our pleasure to assist you again next year in any capacity that we can.
I also would like information on how I can obtain a photo of my ride in your boat. Please forward that information to me at your earliest convenience.

Thank you again!!!

Sgt. Gerald J. Poltrock, II
Weyauwega Police Department
Waupaca County Sheriff's Department Water Patrol

This was after I took Gerry for a 90+ MPH ride. He loved it and said he needs a Hotboat now. They hung with us all day on the poker run. He had to make a call up the river to help a stranded boat and wanted to stay with us. He said to me "You know if you would borrow us one of your boats, we could get back here sooner" !!!!!! They are a couple of great guys. We had a blast with them. Thanks again to Pat, Gerry, and Brian.
