Hey- Finally dropping her in for the first time this year tomorrow morning at John Burns Park in Massapequa.

I'll be out around Tanner Park from about 9:30-11.

Man , Those pictures of Short Beach bring back lots of memories of beach parties while growing up in Freeport in the 70's and early 80's . Back then Checkmates ' Allisons and Superboats reigned supreme over the Bay . Of course the gharvies with 235 Jonrudes and pipe steering were a challenge on flat water . I miss the bay but not the crowds and the winter ! Have a great Summer! , Tom. STV Euro 260.

I just got back from a great day @ short beach. Tripps and his familiy stoped by to say hi and collect some clams and muscles. Great bunch of people!!!:D :D :D

I was there. I stopped there to take a leak. It was pretty early though. the bay was so flat this morning I took a ride all the way down past patty magees and then back to islip. nice long ride:cool:

Hey fast,we went to that place you told us about!! it was pretty good and was a happening place,we had to raft up,and the guy with the other boat like ours showed up and rafted up to us,then when we left ,we got stuck with a dead battery:eek: :eek: :eek: ,??? since the new radio,it's killin the battery,and then,andy,swapped batteries with us and we made it home. thanks to a fellow boater to help in time of need, i always help!!
