Thru a dealer, I enquired, about 1 year ago. I seem to recall they start in the 13K range

I called recently, $15000 on a trailer with only the fuel
tank and dual cable steering. Figure approximately
another $1000 plus for rigging.

Don't know how good you have it. A new boat for $15K US would cost us around $24K Canadian. If I could buy a new one for $15K in our money, I'd be thinking about colors right now. Usually a used one ends up costing us the price you get a new one for.

Thinking about colors :D :D :D There sure is lots of options with the new STV's. I will be flying to Triad next week to meet with Wally, and pick out all the options I want. Yes you can get one for 15-16k, but with all the options that I can't resist, the price will be 20k or over. Adding Kevlar, CD, speakers, white dash, jack plate, ski pole, tandem axle trailer, and the list goes on and on. The color choise is the hardest part.
The best thing to do is just call and talk with Wally.

Thank you very much. Now I understand while Kevin from Alberta Canada gave me $8500 for my 99' Euro boat and trailor. He paid $2000 to have a truck pick it up and was supposed to be a gentleman and pay half the cost for shrink wrap and the loading on the semi truck. His share $230.00 but I got the shaft on that part. Thanks for the info guys.

Thats approx. $29,280.00 Cdn at todays exchange rate and taxes plus the trip down. Guess I'll never own a new one.
